MyChoreBoard — Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

1) Introduction

Welcome to MyChoreBoard, a family chore and reward tracking app provided by SparkWorks Foundry LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”). By creating an account or using the app or website, you agree to this combined Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (“Terms & Privacy”). If you do not agree, you should not use MyChoreBoard.

2) Information We Collect

• Parent account information: email address and login credentials.
• Child profile information: first name, optional birth year.
• Family/child activity data: tasks, reward choices, points earned.
• Technical & analytics data: device identifiers, usage logs, crash reports, and performance metrics.
• Location data: not collected today; may be collected in the future for location-based features (we will update this page before enabling).
• Affiliate reward links: if parents add links (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Target), we may process those links.

We do not currently collect payment information. If optional paid features are added, we will update this page.

3) How We Use Information

• Operate and improve the MyChoreBoard service.
• Provide families with task, reward, and points tracking.
• Support analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Offer and manage affiliate reward links you choose to use.
• Send service announcements and optional marketing emails (with unsubscribe).

4) Sharing of Information

We do not sell children’s data.

• Service providers: e.g., Firebase, Google Analytics, to operate the service.
• Affiliate partners: when you choose to use affiliate reward links.
• Future partners: e.g., payment processors if optional paid features are introduced (we’ll update this page first).

5) Parental Rights

• Request deletion of your entire account (including all child data) by emailing support@mychoreboard.com.
• Request an export (portable copy) of your family’s data.

We comply with applicable U.S. children’s privacy laws (including COPPA).

6) Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

7) Accounts & Eligibility

• MyChoreBoard is designed for parents and guardians.
• Children may use the app only under parental supervision.
• Parents must provide accurate information and safeguard credentials.

8) Acceptable Use

• No hacking, reverse engineering, or disrupting the service.
• No uploading harmful, illegal, or infringing content.
• No unlawful use of MyChoreBoard.

9) Features & Payments

• The core app is free.
• We may introduce optional paid features in the future.
• If you use affiliate reward links, we may receive a commission on purchases.

10) Marketing & Communication

• We may send required service announcements and account notices.
• We may send optional marketing emails; you can unsubscribe at any time.

11) Intellectual Property

MyChoreBoard and its content are owned by SparkWorks Foundry LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

12) Disclaimer of Warranties

MyChoreBoard is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

13) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SparkWorks Foundry LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or relating to your use of the service.

14) Governing Law

These Terms & Privacy are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15) Dispute Resolution

Please contact support@mychoreboard.com to attempt to resolve disputes informally first. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in Georgia, except where prohibited by law.

16) Changes to This Page

We may update this page from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new “Last Updated” date. If changes are material, we may also notify you by email or in-app notice.
