What is the current status of MyChoreBoard?
MyChoreBoard is being actively developed and is currently in beta as a PWA.
What is a PWA?
A PWA, or Progressive Web App, is a web application that acts like a native mobile app, offering features like offline functionality and the ability to be installed on your device's home screen. To save a PWA to your home screen, open it in a compatible browser (like Chrome or Safari), tap the browser's menu icon (three dots or share arrow), and select the option to "Add to Home screen" or "Save to Home Screen".
Will MyChoreBoard be available in the App Stores?
Yes, MyChoreBoard is currently being developed for both the Apple and Android App Stores. In the meantime, the PWA should be compatible with any decently modern device.
Does it work offline?
Briefly. We cache key screens so kids can keep momentum; everything syncs when back online.
Can parents and kids use it on different devices?
Absolutely! MyChoreBoard is designed for tablets and phones and even works from your laptop! It sycronizes across all devices. While some families setup a shared device, many parents prefer to administer the app on their phone and set up an inexpensive dedicated MyChoreBoard tablet for each child.
